Was charted in 1982 with Worshipful Master James McDaniel as its first officer. Upon Worshipful Master McDaniel’s call to refreshment, Worshipful Master Eugene Phillips Sr. assumed the gavel. In 2006 Worshipful Master Phillips was called home to rest and his son and current Worshipful Master John Phillips was duly appointed as Worshipful Master of Seth Lodge #1.
Worshipful Master Phillips continues to serve as master of Seth Lodge, with the assistance of Senior Warden Keion Taylor, Junior Warden Andre Jennings, Secretary Tyrone Gregory, Senior Deacon Terrence Ireland, Junior Deacon Joseph Brooks, and acting Treasure Elton Cooper.
The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man are foundational teachings of Freemasonry. Seth Lodge is always looking to continue this progressive journey by taking good men and making them better.
Seth Lodge stresses the importance of applying the teachings of Freemasonry to the several stations and duties of life as they relate to God, neighbors, and oneself. We encourage continued education and community participation.
